These are the two elements that melded so well: being able to immerse myself in my projects, with lavish intervals hiking and exploring the untrammeled beauty of the hills, streams and waterfalls; feeling part of a unique group of people engaged in richly different pursuits, that could get to know each other beyond, as well as through their 'artwork'. Finding common ground around a dinner table and on the trails, the residents group seemed to evolve as a kind of natural organism unto itself, each individual contributing to a vital, memorable whole.”
